Hotel in Haiti, A winter in Kandahar, and WIRED UK photos
I took the Hotel in Haiti photo and A winter in Kandahar because of two reasons, the current situation in the world and because I found them intriguing for completely different reasons. The hotel in Haiti one have a sad story behind it, but the photo itself is strong and sends a lot of different messages. The second one is two soldiers in the picture, where one is standing on the other one. The message sent here is that people have to work together to accomplish what they want. That is something that is important in the current situation between Ukraine and Russia and at the moment the Hotel in Haiti photo sadly reflects on how it looks in Ukraine at the moment. The third picture called WIRED UK photos is a picture of a car and I chose that picture because I like cars and my favorite color is orange. The angel of the photo is different, probably does not do the car justice, but it is a cool picture. The hotel in Haiti made me feel a bit sad and that a person's life has been taken away in the wrong way. The second photo is a little bit funny. I would say that the photo itself is as serious as it is funny looking, even if the situation might be serious. The car pictures make me happy and excited wanting me to do my hobby which is going out and driving on good roads. In the photo of Haiti, the picture is taken from above, which I think was a good choice to gain as much information and action as possible into the picture. The military man is taken from behind, the person walking on top of the other soldier who again is a successful angel. If it was taken from the front, in front of the wall we would probably only see a wall and if we saw it from behind the person that is on his knees, the picture we almost get less serious, to be honest. That is because then we would only see the ass of the soldiers and on being on top of the other without the upper person with his tool. Instead, we get to see that and that the soldier underneath really is holding the upper person stable with his arms. The picture is pretty much in the middle and it also contains diagonal lines that get tighter the more it looks at the lines going towards the left. Lighting is all from the Sun and I would not say that the picture is taken in the middle of the day because the sun is pretty low. We could tell that with the cool shadow that is shown from the soldiers into the wall. In other words, the lightning is coming from behind.
