Five minutes with Serena Taylor

After reading the story about Serena Taylor I got to know that to become a photographer it takes a lot of time until it becomes one's profession. So to become a photographer she had to leave her home and travel around the world, which I believe she really enjoyed, but at the same time, it can be hard to leave everything else behind. I believe that this is a common view for people who choose to try to be a photographer full time. I have a close family friend who studied law for two years in college but got tired of it and is now traveling around Thailand with two other guys and taking a lot of different types of photos in different environments to learn as much as possible. So I do see similarities with that and the text. I thought that if a photographer like Serena is taking photos for a job, I didn't think that she would say that "there is always room for learning and improvement" at her level. But she does on the other hand say that there is so many other talented photographers around the world and when I'm now taking photos I do see how photos can be taken in many different ways and that there is things to discover and learn all the time.
