2. Interview the individual you selected
The question I am going to ask Is the following:

-
How long have you been a tennis coach?
I started two years ago working for Blue Chip Sports Management.

-
What was the inspiration that led to being an assistant tennis coach?
I have always loved tennis and the environment around it. Due to Covid I was not able to play my last season at Marymount University, so when I graduated undergrad I got the opportunity to come back to study a masters and work as an assistant coach. I felt like if I could come back, I would be able to give players the opportunities I could not get.
-
Are you having any classes at the moment in Marymount ?
I take three classes every semester.

-
What do you find is important by being an assistant tennis coach and how long would you say it takes to become a good coach and learn all the important tools?
There are many things that go with being an assistant coach, I think it is very important to be on top of every player and assist them with any issues they may have in and out of the court. You have responsabilites with the schools, meetings, etc. I think the most important thing is to keep the schedule on track.
I think it takes about one year to actually become a good coach. But I do agree that as a coach you learn something new everyday, so to become a really good coach, I would say I have no answer for that sincerely because I don't have the sufficient experience. To learn all the important tools I think the best thing is to have a good mentor.

Tell us about your work on and off the court.
On the court I prepare lessons and help with the Marymount women’s team mostly. I also work with Georgetown Day School coaching their middle school and high school tennis teams. Off the court I work on my school and in the office setting up summer camps, with recruits, etc.

If someone asks you how did you become a tennis coach and would want some advice from you, what would your answer be?
I became a tennis coach because of the background I have with the sport and the connections I made through school. If I had to give advice it would be that coaching can get really hard and heavy. It is a lot of responsibility from the school to the kids and adults you have to take care of.
1. Identify the locations, dates and times you will be photographing your subject.
We will have practice at Highland park which is were Marymount have their tennis court for now. This will happen 3/16 1-3:30pm. Marymount university 3/16 we will see which time, busy man.
2. Develop a theme for your human interest photographs – aspect of the individuals human interest story you will be focusing on
The theme for this assignment would be how the coach inspires and motivates the players at Marymount to be as good as they possible can and reach their goals.
3. Scout location(s). Plan props, costumes, makeup, and poses:
List locations, props and costumes and or makeup
It is mainly gonna be in the courts but might also be on main campus at Marymount in his office or also outside and inside the Lee center.
Take notes on where you will you be located, lighting and possible composition? Describe 10 possible shots you anticipate taking. Including what will be in the scene setter, medium shot, portrait, detail and the action shots that you anticipate taking?
My first shoot will be on eye level and the second shot I anticipate to take it on a medium angle. third one will be my High Camera angel one and the fourth one will be the scene setter. My fifth shot will show the topic that I am focusing on and the sixth will be some kind of action shot. The sixth will probably be a close up shot while the seventh will be an asymmetry shot. On the eighth one I will try to focus on the person I am interviewing and find the contrast with the background. The ninth shot will be a centering the dominant eye of the person. And last but not least the tenth photo will be on continuing action with a different camera angle and composition.
